Butler Homecoming to be Carried on MyINDY-TV

MyINDY-TV channel 23, will bring Butler Football to television in a live broadcast of the Bulldogs’ game against Morehead State on October 23 at 1:00 p.m.

Tim Cooper Named Butler Assistant Football Coach

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Former Miami (Ohio) and Carroll College football assistant Tim Cooper has been named an assistant football coach at Butler University.  The new Butler coach will serve as a co-Defensive Coordinator for the Pioneer Football League champion Bulldogs.

Bulldog Coach David Kenney to Participate in Indianapolis Colts Internship

INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Our very own defensive coach David Kenney was selected to assist with the Indianapolis Colts preseason training camp under the Bill Walsh Minority Internship Program.

Nick Tabacca Named Assistant Football Coach

INDIANAPOLIS, IN --Nick Tabacca has been named an assistant football coach at Butler University, filling the spot of departed line coach and offensive coordinator Frank Smith, who left to coach at the New Orleans Saints.

 Dan Bohrer is Butler’s all-time leader in receiving yards.  He finished his Butler career with school-records for receptions (192), receiving yards (2,241) and touchdown catches (22).

  Congratulations to David Lang, the PFL's Special Teams Player of the Week.  Lang’s 27-yard field goal with one second remaining gave Butler a share of its second PFL regular-season title in a 20-17 victory against Drake, Saturday

 Congratulations to Andrew Huck who was named the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week!  Huck ran for three touchdowns and passed for another two as Butler remained unbeaten after 31-28 victory over Dayton.

Congratulations to kicker, David Lang, who was named the Pioneer Football League's Special Team Player of the Week!  Lang atoned for a pair of  PAT misses with a 39-yard field goal with one second remaining as Butler downed San Diego 25-24, for the first time since 2001.  For more info, read here

Congratulations to wide receiver Dan Bohrer. At the Morehead State game, Dan had his19th career touchdown catch, giving him sole possession of Butler’s all-time record for TD receptions.


 Congratulations to Andrew Huck, who was named for the third time this season,  the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week.  Huck followed a disastrous first half with a remarkable second frame and led Butler to a 28-21 overtime victory at Morehead State, Saturday

 Congratulations to Andrew Huck, who was named for the second week in a row, the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week. Huck completed 33-of-48 passes for 316 yards and four touchdowns to lead Butler in a 49-19 victory at Franklin, Saturday.

Congratulations to Andrew Huck, who was named the Pioneer Football League's Offensive Player of the Week. Making his first collegiate start, Huck had a hand in all six touchdowns of Butler’s 42-0 victory against Albion, Saturday.
